The Client
PWA Australia is the PREMIERE (in my opinion at least) Professional Wrestling Organisation in Australia. It is also home to the PWI rated #1 female wrestler in the world – Maddison Eagles.
The Story
Doug, the owner of the site came to me in areal mess. Like a lot of small businesses, the site was being run by “some guy they knew who knew about this internet stuff”. Somewhere down the line, something major went wrong and all the pictures and formatting stopped working on the site. All this just a week before a highly publicised upcoming event. It needed to be fixed and fixed fast.
Within hours (I pulled an all nighter) he had a site back up and running that looked better than the original.
But that was not the end of it. Once we got that sorted we sat down and worked out exactly what he wanted for the site. I built it again from the ground up, adding Facebook and Twitter integration, image galleries and more. Plans for the year include a richer Twitter experience featuring the talent that they have on their roster, and more.
Due to the ease of use of the content management system that is sued to run the site, Doug easily maintains the site with next to no assistance from me at all. It also ranks at or near the top of Google for the appropriate keyworks and phrases.
